TELL CONGRESS: STOP PRESIDENT TRUMP'S DANGEROUS OFFSHORE DRILLING AGENDA

URGENT: President Trump plans to expand dangerous offshore drilling into nearly ALL U.S. waters – but you can help stop him, permanently.

Expanding dangerous offshore drilling puts vibrant ocean ecosystems and critical marine life at risk, and is bad for business, threatening thriving coastal economies and lucrative industries.

Together, we must stand united against this grave threat, before it’s too late. Urge your Representative to act now for future generations and do everything in their power to enact a PERMANENT ban on offshore drilling along our coast.

As your constituent, I ask you to permanently protect the Atlantic, Pacific and Florida’s Gulf Coast from dirty and dangerous offshore drilling. I urge you to vote YES on H.R. 1941 and H.R. 205, two bills introduced by Congressmen Joe Cunningham and Francis Rooney, respectively, that place a permanent ban on offshore drilling.    
 
Last month, the House of Representatives passed a one-year moratorium on offshore drilling in the Atlantic, Pacific and eastern Gulf of Mexico. This was a major step forward, but the Senate has not acted, and President Trump's offshore drilling plan would open more than 90% of our oceans to offshore drilling. It's time for Congress to permanently protect our coast. 
 
As my voice in Congress, I am counting on you to pass H.R. 1941 and H.R. 205. Without your leadership, President Trump could open our coasts to dirty and dangerous offshore drilling at a moment’s notice. 
 
We know that offshore drilling leads to oil spills, harming marine life, marine ecosystems and the economies of coastal communities.  
 
Please vote in favor of H.R. 1941 and H.R. 205, the two bills that place a permanent ban on offshore drilling in the Atlantic, Pacific and Florida’s Gulf Coast. Protecting our coasts from dirty and dangerous offshore drilling supports our economy and environment.
