Dolphins are drowning in nets and need your help.

Every year, hundreds of dolphins are caught in fishing nets. The nets wrap around their fins and tails, trapping them underwater. If they are not able to take a breath within about fifteen minutes, these trapped dolphins will drown.

Oceana is working to protect dolphins from this horrible fate, but we need your support. We are pushing to minimize dolphin deaths from dangerous fishing gear by advocating for safer gear, safe areas and increased observer coverage on the water. These victories are only possible with help from people like you.
