Plastics are one of the greatest threats facing our oceans today. Every year, an estimated 33 billion pounds of plastic enter the ocean. Right now, there isn’t a place on Earth untouched by plastic. Enough is enough.

Plastic production rates are increasing and as consumers, we shouldn’t have to contribute to the ocean pollution crisis every time we need to purchase food, household items, or other goods. We can’t keep relying on inadequate solutions like plastic recycling. It’s time for policy-makers like you to turn off the tap and pass policies that reduce the production and use of single-use plastic and move toward a refill and reuse system.
