We must move away from drilling and spilling to tackle the climate crisis.

A toxic new bill in Congress would force offshore drilling on millions of acres of ocean every year. This jaw-dropping legislation would also block protections for critically endangered Rice's whales. The harmful provisions in the Energy Permitting Reform Act of 2024 would hurt our oceans and the people who rely on them for generations to come. We cannot pretend we are taking a step forward when we march backward, drowning in oil.
