URGE THE U.S. AND CANADIAN GOVERNMENTS TO PROTECT THE NORTH ATLANTIC RIGHT WHALE

The North Atlantic right whale is one of the most endangered species on the planet.

Since 2017, at least 36 right whales have died in U.S. and Canadian waters, leaving just around 356 of these beloved creatures.

We must take immediate action to protect these whales from their two greatest threats: deadly collisions with boats and entanglements in fishing gear.

Join Oceana in calling on the U.S. and Canadian governments to save North Atlantic right whales from extinction.

Dear Canadian and U.S. Government Officials,

I urge you to put permanent measures in place to protect the North Atlantic right whale — one of the most endangered whales in the world.

Since 2017, at least 36 right whales have died in U.S. and Canadian waters, leaving just around 356 of these beloved creatures. Please take immediate action to protect these whales from their two greatest threats: deadly collisions with boats and entanglements in fishing gear.

I am asking you to stand up and fight for the survival of these critically endangered whales before it’s too late.

Sincerely,
