The future of the Arctic is in your hands.

The Obama administration is seeking public commentary on its 2017-2022 Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas Leasing program. This upcoming five-year plan will decide the Obama administration's vision for future drilling in the Arctic Ocean, as well as the final road map that the president will leave to his successor.

When it comes to harmful oil drilling in the Arctic, this is our chance to decide what comes next.

The Arctic Ocean supports some of the world's most iconic wildlife species: beluga whales, polar bears, spotted seals, walruses and more. Indigenous people who have inhabited the area's shores for thousands of years also depend on a thriving Arctic.

The public comment period ends July 31. Tell Interior Secretary Jewell to take a step in the right direction for the next five years, and keep oil drilling out the Arctic's future.
