Host a watch party for our film “Drill, Spill, Repeat?” - Host
It’s been four years since the Deepwater Horizon drill rig exploded in the Gulf of Mexico killing 11 men and causing the worst environmental disaster in history. Four years later and we’re pumping more oil out of the Gulf than ever before, we’ve seen little improvement in drill-rig safety, there have been dozens of oil spills across the country, and we’re fighting to keep offshore drilling and seismic blasting from expanding to the East Coast.
So this year we’re commemorating the BP oil spill disaster by sharing stories from the Gulf in our new documentary “Drill, Spill, Repeat?” with the rest of the country. And we’re counting on ocean activists like you to get the word out.
Hosting a watch party is easy and fun:
- Sign up now to host and tell us how many other activists you have room for.
- One of our grassroots organizers in your region will get in touch with you and give you all the materials you need to encourage discussion/action.
- We’ll let other Oceana members near you know about your event.
- Invite your friends and family!
We can never take the BP disaster back, but we can work together to prevent it from happening anywhere else. Thanks for taking the lead.
